Call for workshops to accompany Deep Mining 2027
The Australian Centre for Geomechanics is seeking proposals from parties interested in hosting workshops in association with the upcoming Deep Mining 2027 conference, on the topic of deep and high-stress mining and relevant areas of interest.
Your proposal is to address the following:
- Title of workshop
- Name, position titles, affiliations, brief career details and contact details for all workshop presenters
- Event overview, objective and themes (one A4 page)
- Expected target audience and required background for those expected to attend the event
- Draft program, listing presentation titles and time slots and duration (full day or half day)
- Any item that the event participant should provide (e.g. calculator, computer)
- Any purchases expected to be made by the delegate for the workshop and the prices (proceedings [book], USB, software, etc.).
The number of Deep Mining 2027 associated events to be offered will be restricted, and evaluations of the workshops will be based on the nature and quality of the proposal, as well as the timeliness and relevance of the workshop topic. Proposals are subject to review and acceptance. The ACG will forward you administration and financial guidelines.
The deadline to submit a proposal is Friday 12 February 2027
