Online attendees

The ACG will send you the link to login to the online event prior to event commencement.

The Australian Centre for Geomechanics, The University of Western Australia applies restrictions on recording the presentations of this event. All unauthorised audio recording, video recording and photography or transmission of the ACG online event material, data or information is expressly prohibited.

The online presentations will not be recorded, and will not be available post event. Similarly, transcripts of question and answer sessions will not be made available post event.

System requirements

The online version of this event will be hosted via Teams meeting. Please check prior to the event that you have access to Teams and advise the ACG if you do not have access.

We encourage you to join the session 15 minutes early to enable adequate time to resolve potential technical issues with streaming prior to the event commencement.

If you have not previously used Teams, please set up ahead of time. Teams can be downloaded at microsoft.com/en-au/microsoft-teams/download-app.

Arriving from the airport

There are several options to get from Montréal-Trudeau International Airport to Montreal city centre. Taxi ride-share services, trains, buses, and shuttle services are available at the airport.

Bus 747 Express
The 747 bus line service runs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, between the Montréal-Trudeau airport and downtown Montreal (corner of Berri and Sainte-Catherine – Berri-UQAM station).

VIA Rail Canada
VIA Rail Canada is Canada’s national passenger rail service. It offers inter-city connections along a number of corridors. 

Taxis
Taxis are available at the arrivals level near the central exit. No reservation is required.

Uber
Uber is available from the airport.

Coaches
Orléans Express offers a return shuttle service by coach between Montréal-Trudeau and major cities. There are several departures daily, every day of the week.

Open hours: Between the hours of 6:00 to 20:00, pay the parking attendant (if parking overnight, and there is no attendant, use the pay machine).

Note: If arriving after 6:00, the daily rate applies, and parking is valid until the next day at 6:00.

It is strongly recommended event participants apply for their visas at least 12 weeks in advance of their travel. It is important to note most visa-required participants may need to provide their biometrics.
